Chapter Two: The First Journey   A year has past since I first began my humble journey into the graphics world. Much has changed since then and, although experience has been gained, I have never felt more unsure of which road I am taking; the road to competency or the easy path to complacency.   I began my journey by undertaking requests for signatures, avatars, banners and wallpapers and as such I pretty much stuck to doing image manipulations. Chapter One: Concerning Graphics    I started drawing at the age of five and displayed a rather grotesque lack of talent. However, I was blissfully unaware of this fact and was content to draw on almost anything, be it on the inside of cereal boxes, the living room wall or anything with a smoothe surface. Although I was quite bad at drawing (to say the least), my mother encouraged me to draw and paint, just not on the walls!
